Most removals sites list towns. We would rather be straight about how this firm actually works, because the honest version is more useful to you than a page of place names.
We are a named firm, not a local one
There is no town called Harvard, and we are not going to invent a base to look more local than we are. Plenty of removals websites list fifty place names they have never worked in, because a page of towns catches searches. It tells you nothing about whether the firm can do your move.
What is true: we work across England, Scotland and Wales, and we go where the move is. The length of the journey changes how a job is crewed and planned, not whether we take it.
What that means in practice
For a local move, it means the crew travels to you and the survey happens by video first — and we will tell you plainly where the vehicle is coming from so you can judge that for yourself.
For a cross-country move, it is genuinely an advantage. A firm anchored to one town treats a long-distance job as an exception; for us it is ordinary work, planned around drivers' hours and the unload at the far end. See long-distance and nationwide removals.
Where you may be better served elsewhere
If your move is short, simple and entirely inside one town, a firm based in that town may well beat us on price for the travelling time alone. We will say so if we think it is the case. We would rather lose a small local job than win it and be the more expensive option for no good reason.
