Packing and careful handling
Full, part, or just the fragile end of it. Wardrobe cartons, proper glass and picture boxes, and labelling by the room things are going to rather than the room they came from.
Storage
Containerised and inventoried in and out, for the gap when a chain slips or two dates refuse to line up. Ask early so the space is held rather than hunted for.
Dismantle and reassembly
Beds, wardrobes, tables and desking taken apart and rebuilt, with fixings taped to the piece they belong to.
Part loads
Sharing a vehicle already heading your direction. Usually the sensible answer for a small amount going a long way, with scheduling as the trade-off.
Single heavy items
Upright pianos, safes, workshop machinery, large art. Grands and anything needing an external route we assess first and will decline honestly if it wants a specialist.
Student moves
Halls to house, house to house, home for the summer. A man-and-van job priced as the small job it is, with term dates as the only real constraint.
Where the list ends
Asbestos. We do not remove or handle it in any form. It needs a licensed contractor with proper containment. If it turns up mid-job we stop and tell you.
Destinations outside our four countries. We move to France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. Not the USA, Canada, Australia, the Gulf, South Africa or Asia, however often those get searched for. If that is your move we will point you at a firm that genuinely does it rather than take a deposit and work it out later.
Grand pianos on an external route. Uprights we handle; grands and anything coming through a window or down an external staircase we assess first and will hand to a piano specialist if that is the right answer.
